A Little about our Journey

We started RoboLectro STEAM Studio to follow our passion.

When we were in USA, we heard about the LEGO Mindstorm EV3 Robotics kit. Looking at the price of the kit, we were a bit hesitant to buy it for our 7 year old son. Since it was very interesting, we bought and introduced to him. Within a couple of hours, he started to build the robot and was thoroughly enjoying it. Over the years, he has learnt the building and writing the code for the robots and has competed in many globally acclaimed robotics competitions like WRO, Robofest, Robocup, FLL etc.

We being engineers and working in the corporate world, realized how his skills of Design & Development of Mechanical, Electronics and Software developed. Not just the engineering concepts, his observation, curiosity and use of science concepts in practical projects have grown. This skill will surely be useful for his future. During his school days in USA, we realized that science concepts are taught in a practical hands-on environment rather than within the four walls of the classroom filled with theory.

As a parent, if it’s helped our kid, then we were certain that LEGO Robotics, coupled with practical science would make a difference in the way kids learn STEM concepts. Now, we are the proud founders of RoboLectro STEAM Studio. Started with just 2 courses, we now have 14 amazing hands-on 21st Century courses for children aged 5 to 16 years.

To be on par with the competitive world, we also mentor children for Globally Acclaimed Robotics, Coding and Science competitions like WRO (World Robotics Olympiad), FLL (First LEGO League), Robocup and Google CodeToLearn.
